PBS: The Supreme Court

PBS: The Supreme Court is an informative, captivating and well-produced documentary about the history of the United States Supreme Court, its justices and the more famous cases it has decided. Together with an excellent soundtrack, it traces the Court from humble inception under Jay,  to John Marshall and beyond, and concluding with Rehnquist and the Bush v Gore decision in 2000. There are interviews with serving and former justices, former clerks and academics – in addition to valuable contextual information about the personalities and litigants behind the big cases. In short, a recommended treat for anyone interested in the workings of the US Supreme Court or constitutionalism generally.
